Tropical Storm Moving Out Of Our Area

by | Sep 5, 2016

Though we are still seeing some low impacts from tropical storm Hermine today. The storm is drifting north northwest as it continues to push further away from us. We are still having a good breeze from the coast, and possibly some minor tidal flooding, but other than that we are in the clear. The seas will remain on the rough side today around 7 feet inshore and 8-14 feet offshore. With these high seas in the forecast it will be another day the boats will be unable to get out fishing. We are expecting the weather to clear up here over the next few days and the fleet will be able to do what they do best, and get on the fish. We are just now getting into the time of year we usually see our best Marlin fishing. Do not forget we have our 2nd Annual F. Wayne McLeskey Tournament just around the corner, with the captains meeting on Friday, and boats being able to fish either Saturday or Sunday.

Check out the photos below of the high tide we had here at the marina when Hermine past off our coast and pushed some water inside.
