Marlin on the Run!

Offshore:

This morning the Backlash, Capt Cheryl, Rebel, and WaveRunner all headed out offshore bright and early this morning. The boats came back with flags flying as well as some nice meat fish on the docks! The boats have been bringing back plenty of Mahi Mahi recently. There were also some nice sized sharks caught today as well. We had many citations today!

The Winners of the 2015 Wine, Women, & Fishing Tournament, Team GitRDone accepted their awards last night! They won the tournament as well as winning the crazy crew award! Congratulations and nice work ladies and crew!

Inshore:

This morning the High Hopes trolled along the coast of Virginia Beach, and just returned with a nice catch of Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish! We still have the GitRDone fishing on an all day nearshore trip, they caught and released some sharks, as well as brought in some nice Mahi!

Rudee Inlet:

Inside of Rudee Inlet there are still plenty of Croaker and Spot being caught. They seem to be hitting best on cut squid as well as live bloodworms. There has also been a scatted Flounder bite, they seem to attack on live minnows, as well as gulps on a light jig head. We have also received reports of a few Puppy Drum being caught as well hitting on cut bait, and artificial swimming baits!
