Bluefish Still Biting, Flounder Bite On The Rise

by | May 13, 2015

Rudee Inlet:

Inside Rudee Inlet there continues to be some Bluefish caught, as well as some nice Flounders. The primary baits used are: Finger Mullet, Gulp, top water artificial, and live minnows.

Inshore:

Over by the eastern shore there have been reports of some great Drum fishing! Along the beaches here outside of Rudee Inlet fishing is still a little slow as we wait on the water temperature to continue to rise. Though there are some nice Bluefish being caught as well as a few Round-heads, Croaker, and Spot.

Offshore:

Offshore the Dolphin continue to to bite as well as a few Yellowfin Tuna. The only thing is that the bite is still just a little too far south for us. Hopefully they will be pushed up here shortly and fishing will take off at the Canyon.
