Rudee Inlet:

There have been quite a bit of Speckled Trout citations recently! Today, we had a gentleman come in with a 24″ release citation. The past week we have had numerous anglers come up with Specks ranging from 5-7 lbs! These fish are a bit harder Most people are using gulps with a jig head in the inlet to catch their speckled trout. Mirrolures have also brought people luck for trout in the inlet!

Inshore:

Good sized Speckled Trout, and even citations, are being caught in the Elizabeth River.
Striped Bass are also being caught in the Chesapeake Bay on Eels. It is still early for them to be showing up along the coast, but we expect them to be closer within the next two weeks or so.
There are also some Bluefin within distance, that may be inshore. We have a boat out today, fishing for them!

Offshore Report:

Black Seabass, Blueline Tilefish, and Blackbellied Rosefish are caught offshore by Deep Dropping. Our boats have not been offshore lately, but the Deep Drop bite is still good!
