Today the Wave Runner fished inshore and came back with a nice catch of Spanish Mackerel, Spadefish, and Drum. Tomorrow we’ve got our entire fleet fishing offshore so be sure to check back in the evening to see how they did! Today, we had both the Backlash and High Hopes fishing inshore. The Backlash hit the docks after their morning trip with a great catch of Spadefish as well as some nice Spanish Mackerel. The High Hopes brought back an awesome catch of Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish from their midday trip. The fishing is continuing to pick up both on inshore and offshore trips so now is the time to get them booked! Don’t forget we also offer make-up charters to help you fill the boat if you don’t have a full 6 people and want to split costs!
A big shout-out goes to the Backlash for catching the first White Marlin of our season today!! Way to go Capt. Steve and mate, Brandon! Not only did the Backlash bring home a White Marlin release and citation for their anglers, but they also brought home some nice Dolphin. They saw a few other Dolphin, a Big Eye and another White Marlin as well. Our fingers are crossed that this really is the kick-off to our offshore season! The Capt. Unfortunately today we had some high winds and rough seas roll in, preventing our guys from getting out and fishing. Yesterday however we did still have reports of Mahi and Tuna being caught Offshore out of the Virginia Beach Fishing Center! Hopefully the seas will calm down a bit tonight and our fleet will be able to get back out there, check back with us tomorrow to see how they do.
Today, we have the Backlash fishing offshore as well as the Top Notch, Capt. Cheryl, and Wave Runner inshore. Inshore the Top Notch spent their morning Spade fishing! They kept enough for dinner and released about 40 more! Spadefish can be really fun to catch and great to eat so give us a call to get your Spade fishing tips booked! Capt. Cheryl headed south to fish off Sandbridge this morning, and came back with a nice catch of Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish! We are still waiting on the Backlash to get in from their day Offshore, but we will update you as we hear how they did!

The High Hopes came back to the docks this afternoon with our local fire fighters and wives with a nice catch of Dolphin and a limit of Blueline Tilefish! The Top Notch returned in the afternoon with a limit of spade fish! These fish are a great battle and great to eat!
