Inshore: Today the Backlash and High Hopes went on four hour inshore trips. The High Hopes returned to the docks with a catch of Bluefish. The Backlash had fun catching and releasing Bluefish! Rudee Inlet: Today we weighed in a 5lb citation sized Speckled Trout.
Offshore: Today is opening day of Black Sea Bass season as the entire head boat fleet is out in search of them, and other bottom dwellers. We also had a boat return from an over night offshore trip and unloaded a bunch of meat onto the docks. They had Black Sea Bass, Tuna, Mahi, Blueline Tilefish, and a Shark. Offshore: Bright and early this morning the Backlash and Wave Runner headed out to the deep water offshore. They both returned to the docks with a nice catch of Mahi, as well as a few Tuna in the mix of things Inshore: The Capt Cheryl fished inshore this morning and returned to the docks with a few Bluefish, as well as catching and releasing a few Red Drum.
Inshore: The inshore boats lately have been catching a handful of Bluefish. But the latest bite had been the Red Drum. Several anglers have been into the marina in recent days to register citations for released Red Drum. The minimum size for a release on a Red Drum is 46″, and most catches have been slightly larger than that. There have also still been a few small sharks lingering around. Offshore: The Offshore trips have been returning to the docks with some nice catches of Mahi and Blueline Tilefish. With several of the Bluelines being of citation size. We have also seen some scattered bites of Billfish, and a few Wahoo in the mix of things, as well as the occasional Tuna. Rudee Inlet: Anglers …

The WaveRunner returned to the docks with a nice catch of Mahi, as well as some Blueline Tilefish in the mix of things. Inshore: We had a few private boats do a little inshore fishing and they were able to find some Red Drum, including a few citations that were caught and released. Inshore: Today we had the Top Notch and Backlash fish inshore. The Top Notch crew had a great time catching and releasing some Red Drum, including three that were of citation size. The Backlash returned to the docks with some Bluefish as well as a few Spanish Mackerel. We also weighed in a 25 pound King Mackerel. Offshore: Today we had the Wave Runner fishing offshore. They returned to the docks with a nice haul of Mahi along with a few Black Belly Rosefish! There was also a nice Sword Fish brought to the dock from a private boat!
Offshore: Today we have the WaveRunner and Instigator fishing offshore. The WaveRunner has been fishing since yesterday as they are on an overnight trip. The Instigator returned with a nice catch from the deep.. Inshore: Today we have the high Hopes fishing on an all day inshore trip. They are expected to return to the docks around 5 PM. We have already heard from them this morning that they had caught and released a Bull Shark off the coast of our beautiful oceanfront.
