Winds Finally Lay Down….To The Deep We Go

by | Sep 7, 2015

Offshore:

Today was the first break in the weather after the strong northeast winds. Bright and early this morning the Backlash headed out offshore. We also have the Rebel scheduled to head offshore here shortly, but will not be back until at least early tomorrow morning. Several of our private boats also headed out offshore this morning, and we are expecting them back alongside the Backlash between 5 and 6 is this evening. We are hoping that the bite will really be going off offshore today after this recent blow, just after the offshore bite started to get hot! The Backlash returned with some Mahi and 3 White Marlin releases today.

Inshore:

This morning we have the WaveRunner fishing inshore. They should be returning to the docks around noon, so be sure to check back with us to see how they did!

Rudee Inlet:

The Rudee Inlet bite continues to bit here today. We have received reports of some Croaker and Spot still hitting on both live bloodworms as well as the fishbites. There are also some flounder hitting on live minnows, some of which are of keeper size!
