How to book a Charter:

Captain Eason is available year round for charter fishing, however, his days do fill up quickly. Please choose which day you would like to head out fishing, and give Captain Eason (757-286-1162)  a call to book. Otherwise, if Captain Eason is out fishing and you would like to book a day, please call the Virginia Beach Fishing Center at 757-491-8000 or 800-725-0509 and request to book a charter for the Virginian.

Offshore Trips:

These trips are going to go the furthest out. These trips often run 45 miles + and spend around 2-3 hours running each direction. These trips go out fishing for yellowfin tuna, bluefin tuna, dolphin, wahoo, white marlin, blue marlin, sailfish, swordfish, amberjack, and other similar fish! Custom trips are available.

Full Day Nearshore Trips:

These trips will go out up to roughly up to 20 miles. These trips include trips to the Chesapeake Light Tower, into the Chesapeake Bay, or down into Sandbridge near the North Carolina line. This trip is an extension of the 1/2 day Nearshore and allows the angler more time to fish. This trip can go out for Cobia, Striped Bass, Flounder, Bluefish, Spadefish, Tautog, and other similar fish! Custom trips are available.

Half Day Nearshore Trips:

These trips will go out up to roughly up to 12 miles. These trips include trips to the Chesapeake Light Tower, into the Chesapeake Bay, or down into Sandbridge near the North Carolina line. This trip is the shorter trip that is similar to the Full Day Nearshore. This trip can go out for Striped Bass, Flounder, Bluefish, Spadefish, Tautog, and other similar fish! Custom trips are available.

Half Day Inshore Trips:

These trips will go out up to roughly 3 miles. These are very close in trips, and will fish outside of Rudee Inlet, and will run up and now the beach within a few miles of the inlet in either direction. This trip will include fishing for speckled trout, puppy drum, taylor bluefish, and spanish mackeral.
