The Rebel with Capt. and Owner Randy Randy Butler has been fishing out of the Virginia Beach Fishing Center for over 20 years now, and has over 35 years overall experience of offshore fishing from Virginia Beach, Virginia. Randy likes to keep the charter business in the family, his first mate is his son Michael who is following in his father’s footsteps with a strong passion for fishing. Capt. Randy is a United States Coast Guard licensed and insured Virginia charter boat Captain. Capt. Randy is the winner of the 2007 White Marlin Open. A highlight of his fishing career is in 2013 when he caught a personal record best 50 white marlins during one single fishing trip! It doesn’t matter if you’re fishing for leisure or striving to make the winners circle in a tournament, he’ll give you the best chance in hooking that trophy fish or filling the box with meat! He’s highly experienced when it comes to trolling, live baiting and bottom fishing. From inshore fishing, to offshore big game fishing, he will be sure to do his best to hook you up with a big one.The Rebel is absolutely one of the is a 60‘ custom Ritchie Howell that was built in 2007 to specifically catch fish with. With a 30 knot cruising speed, The Rebel will get you to the fishing spot quick so you can spend more time fishing and less time cruising! The Rebel runs on twin C-18 Catepillar 1000hp engines, and has a yacht finish on the interior. Down below you will find two state rooms with the ability to sleep six people, and two bathrooms. There is satellite TV on board with 3 flat screens for your entertainment. There is a full kitchen with an ice maker, microwave, and two refrigerators. Up top on the bridge is full state of the art electronics including twin Furuno Nav-Net systems , a Furuno 72 mile radar, as well as a Furuno bottom machine.
