The Capt. Cheryl, captained by Joe DelCampo has been fishing on our fleet for roughly 5 years now. Capt. Joe DelCampo has been fishing for over 20 years. Not only does Capt. Joe run charters on the Capt. Cheryl, he also is a commercial fisherman on his own boat. So he has plenty of knowledge and experience to share. Capt. Joe is known for his very successful deep drop trips. The Capt Cheryl is a 57′ custom B.C Carolina boat. It is powered by a 1000 HP Caterpillar engine with a cruising speed of 24 knots. This powerful motor can kick the boat up to a max speed of 29 knots. Inside the cockpit of the boat is a fishing chair to assist in all your big game fish catches. The Capt Cheryl is equipped with top of the line fishing gear; artificial baits, rods, reels, VHF radio, bottom machine, chart plotter, GPS, and several other safety equipment. Inside There is an air conditioned/heated cabin, with a comfortable couch and brand new flat screen TV to relax in during travel times to and from the fishing grounds, or for anyone who need a break from all the fishing action. Forwards downstairs you will find a few bunks for anyone who needs to catch a few zzz’s. The Capt. Cheryl is currently out of the water receiving a complete makeover both inside and out. we are excited to see the outcome of the Capt. Cheryl when she returns to her slip this spring.
