Offshore:
The offshore fishing has been a scattered bite here in recent days. We have seen several flags flying on the outriggers of boats as they pull in. They have been predominately for White Marlin and Blue Marlin, though we have seen an occasional Sailfish. The Mahi bite has remained consistent as we have seen several of citation size hit the docks in recent days, and the numbers have been great. We have not had any Wahoo hit the dock in several days but we are confident we will see another one soon. Deep Drop fishing has remained great as bottom fishing out of Virginia Beach always produces nice hauls.
The Veteran returned to the docks this evening putting up a nice haul of Mahi on our racks! The Rebel returned flying a rigger full of White Marlin release flags as well as a 45lb Mahi.
Inshore:
Inshore fishing this morning was a little on the slower this morning. Inshore fishing has had a scattered bite in recent days consisting of Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, and then on the nearshore trips Cobia and small sharks can put up a decent fight. The WaveRunner returned to the docks with some Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish. The Backlash is fishing inshore this afternoon so we are hoping for a better bite.

Rudee Inlet:
Jigging Gulps on a light jig head seems to lure in the attention of Flounder inside Rudee Inlet over the past days, we have seen several keepers hooked. Live minnows are also working to attract Flounder to bite. There are also plenty of Croaker and Spot inside of the beautiful Rudee Inlet, they seem to bite best on live bloodworms as well as squid.
