More Wind and Weather

Today At The Marina:

After what was too few nice days, the wind has picked back up in Virginia Beach which means that unfortunately, all of our boats will be staying dockside today. The wind today will be blowing NE 15-25 knots today and the seas will begin to become more and more rough. So far, Tuesday night and Wednesday are looking the worst with winds possibly up to 30 knots and rough waters. All of this weather looks to be continuing throughout the week, but as always we hope this will all change!

Offshore:

As previously stated, we have no boats offshore today but yesterday the Top Notch had a great day on the water bringing home some impressive Wahoo and Yellowfin Tuna and also jumping off a Sailfish. There are still plenty of fish to be caught out there including, but not limited to; Wahoo, Tuna, Dolphin, and Swordfish.

Inshore:

In the past week or so we have had a few boats go fish inshore and they returned with some really nice Bluefish catches!

Rudee Inlet:

The main bite in Rudee Inlet seems to be the Spot as of lately. There have been a few reports of Speckled Trout, Puppy Drum and Croaker biting on Bloodworms but the Speckled Trout seem to be the main hit. The Speckled Trout have been biting well on Gulp, MirrOLures and Bloodworms.

As always, if you are catching inside Rudee Inlet we would love to hear about it so that we can keep our reports as up to date as possible! Fingers crossed this wind will not stick around and we can get back out there!
