Bluefish Bite Remains

by | May 4, 2015

Rudee Inlet:

There are still some Bluefish in Rudee Inlet, though the bite has dropped off a bit. The reports have proved that any top-water lures have been working best along with cut Finger Mullet. There has even been some Flounder caught as well but not many keepers.

Inshore:

Sadly, we do not have any boats scheduled for inshore trips today. The last time we had an inshore boat, fishing appeared to be a little slow, but with this warmer weather we are predicted to have over the next few days should hopefully kick off the bite. We are ready to see some nice showings of Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, and catching and releasing some small sharks on our inshore trips

Offshore:

Offshore there seems to be plenty of Dolphin biting. Biting along side the Mahi are some decent Yellowfin Tuna, as long as you can keep the sharks out of your spread. There have been reports of some nice Makos being caught as well.
