Thursday Update

Inshore:

The inshore boats lately have been catching a handful of Bluefish. But the latest bite had been the Red Drum. Several anglers have been into the marina in recent days to register citations for released Red Drum. The minimum size for a release on a Red Drum is 46″, and most catches have been slightly larger than that. There have also still been a few small sharks lingering around.

Offshore:

The Offshore trips have been returning to the docks with some nice catches of Mahi and Blueline Tilefish. With several of the Bluelines being of citation size. We have also seen some scattered bites of Billfish, and a few Wahoo in the mix of things, as well as the occasional Tuna.

Rudee Inlet:

Anglers fishing inside Rudee Inlet have continued to catch some nice Speckled Trout, as well as some Puppy Drum when you can find them. There are still some Spot and Croaker biting as well on blood worms, though this bite has seemed to drop off in recent days.
