Offshore:
The Top Notch returned from a deep drop trip just a little bit ago. They has a really nice catch of some Black Seabass, Trigger Fish, a Tautog and Flounder. The Black Seabass are biting hard and in good numbers. The season for them ends on December 31, 2015.
Inshore:
We still haven’t seen any Rockfish being caught in the ocean just yet. The warm weather is keeping them still way far up in the bay around 45-50 miles up.
Rudee Inlet:
There are still some Speckled Trout being caught in the inlet but they are of smaller size with lots of throw backs. The best bait to use for them is chartreuse Gulp with a light jig head.
