Rudee Inlet:

The Rudee Inlet bite has continued to be predominately Croaker and Spot, with the Spot bite on the rise. Popular baits for anglers looking to target these two species have been live bloodworms and squids on a bottom rig. There are still a few lingering flounder reportedly being caught using gulp on a light jig head. Puppy Drum are still here if you can find them biting on cut finger mullet. There are some Speckled Trout that have started to move in hitting on the occasional Gulp or MirrOlure. Fall fishing in Rudee inlet is usually pretty good, so be sure to get outside and throw a line in. Dont forget to stop in our store for all of your Rudee Inlet fishing needs.

Inshore:

The inshore charters have continued to catch some Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish while trolling up and down our coast. There have been some reports of some Flounder and Red Drum in the mix of things. There are still some small sharks being caught and released as well.

Offshore:

This morning we had the Backlash head out to the deep water at the Norfolk Canyon. We are expecting them to return to the docks possibly flying some release flags as well as bringing home some Mahi and possibly Tuna. Be sure to check back with us between 5 and 6 this evening to see how they did! The Backlash returned to the docks with a Blue Marlin flag flying along with a nice catch of Mahi!
