Another Pretty Day Of Fishing

Rudee Inlet:

The Rudee Inlet bite continues to produce great catches of Croaker, with a few Spot in the mix of things. Anglers looking to target Croaker and Spot would be best off using live bloodworms or squid on a bottom rig. There are still some Flounder being caught, though most have been throw backs we have had some ongoing keepers in the mix of things. Popular baits for Flounder have been gulp on a light jig head, as well as live minnows. There are a few Bluefish and Puppy Drum inside Rudee Inlet as well hitting on light weight artificials and cut Finger Mullet.

Inshore:

Today we have several boats on the fleet fishing inshore.  Lately Inshore fishing has been great! We have seen some nice catches of Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish, with a few King Mackerel in the mix of things. Lately we have also seen an increase in the Cobia bite with some beautiful ones hitting our scales! The WaveRunner, GitRDone, and Capt Cheryl returned from their morning inshore charters with some Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel. They Capt Cheryl crew also had some fun catching and releasing some small sharks. We also had some Cobia on the docks as well.  On their afternoon inshore trip, The Capt Cheryl got into some more Spanish Mackerel and Blues, and caught and released some small sharks!

Offshore:

Bright and Early this morning we had the Backlash, High Hopes, and Rebel head out offshore. The High Hopes just returned from offshore with an impressive catch of Mahi, along with a few Blueline Tilefish and Black Sea Bass in the mix of things. They also caught and released a White Marlin, a Sailfish, and 3 Citation Dusky Sharks! The Backlash returned with an awesome catch of Mahi as well as catching and releasing 3 White Marlin, 2 citation sharks. The Rebel just returned from offshore after catching and releasing 6 White Marlin
