Big Eye on the Docks!

by | Aug 7, 2016

Rudee Inlet:

The Rudee Inlet bite continues to have a strong Croaker bite, the popular set up for them have been live bloodworms or squid on a bottom rig. Along side the Croaker there are a few Spot that are starting to show up. The Flounder continue to bite on live minnows best, or even gulp on a light jig head seems to do the trick. Most of the Flounder that have been caught recently have been throw backs, though we have continued to have some nice keepers caught in the mix. There are still a few Bluefish and the occasional Puppy drum that have been caught using cut finger mullet off the bottom.

Inshore:

Today, the Wave Runner has an afternoon inshore trip, and they should be back to the docks around 5 PM so check back with us them to see how they did! The inshore bite continues to produce great catches of Spanish Mackerel along with Bluefish and the occasional Red Drum and Cobia!

Offshore:

The Rebel is the only boat fishing offshore today, and they are returning from an overnight trip so check back with us later to see how they did! The offshore bite has been predominately Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, and Mahi! The Rebel returned with a 207 lb Big Eye Tuna along with 6 White Marlin releases!
