Offshore:

The High Hopes, Instigator, and Git-R-Done all headed offshore early this morning. We have heard reports from other private boats that there are some Swordfish running. We hope that to see the boats return this evening with flags flying and some fish to put on the docks. The High Hopes was the first charter boat to arrive back at the docks this afternoon! They caught a Mahi Mahi along with a Yellowfin Tuna. The Instigator also returned to the dock with two Wahoo, one which was 60 lbs, 2 Yellowfin Tuna, a False Albacore, and a Mahi Mahi! Along with the High Hopes and Instigator, the Git-R-Done returned with a 36 lb Wahoo! We also had one of our private boats return from their offshore trip with a Yellowfin and Wahoo.

The inshore bite has predominantly Bluefish. We have also heard reports of there being Red Drum in the area.

Rudee Inlet:

The bite in the inlet has consisted of Spot, Puppy Drum, and a few small Speckled Trout. The hot bait to be using is live bloodworms, various cut bait like squid and mullet, and Gulp with a light jighead,
