Offshore:
The Backlash, Instigator, Top Notch and Rebel are all offshore fishing today. The Backlash returned flying 12 White Marlin Release flags as well as a Sailfish release flag. The Instigator hit the docks with a rigger full as well, flying 7 White Marlin release flags, a Blue Marlin release flag, and even had a released Spearfish. The Top Notch pulled into the Marina with a really nice catch and release showing, having 13 White Marlin release flags hanging from their riggers. The Rebel pulled in late last night and caught and release 6 Billfish, as well as having some nice Mahi, Tilefish, and Grouper. They tried to find a Big Eye Tuna, but just were not able to get hooked up with one. The entire fleet also came back with nice catches of Mahi. The most impressive thing about yesterdays offshore fishing was the billfish bite. Phenomenal Marlin fishing out of Rudee Inlet.
Inshore:
The High Hopes went out on a half day inshore trip this morning and hooked up to some Spanish Mackerel. The Spanish are still biting well and we have been having a good catch of them.
Rudee Inlet:
The predominant bite here in Rudee Inlet has been Spot and Croaker biting on live bloodworms and squid with a few keeper Flounder being caught as well. The Flounder are biting best on live minnows.
