Offshore:
The Backlash, Capt. Cheryl, Instigator, and Top Notch are off fishing offshore today. The Capt. Cheryl returned to the dock at about 5PM with a nice catch of Dolphin along with 2 White Marlin release flags! Pretty work! The Instigator also returned from their offshore trip with Sea Bass and Tilefish! The Git-R-Done returned around 3 o’clock this afternoon from an overnight trip, and they caught a White Marlin, Tilefish, and some Dolphin! The Backlash brought a nice haul of Dolphin along with one White Marlin back to the dock this afternoon! We also had two private boats come to the docks today with some Big Eye Tuna! One Big Eye weighed in at 225 lbs and the other at 156 lbs. The Top Notch returned with a nice catch of Mahi and a White Marlin release.
Inshore:
The Cobia bite has been picking up inshore recently. Here’s a picture of one of our Dock Hands, Charlie, with a Cobia that he caught this morning!
