Mahi, White Marlin, & A Big Eye Offshore…Spanish Mackerel Inshore

by | Aug 28, 2015

Offshore:

Today we have three of our boats fishing offshore. The wind is still blowing making for some choppy conditions. The Backlash and Wave Runner are both running 12 hour trips and the Rebel is out on an overnight trip. The Backlash just returned with a really nice haul of Mahi! The WaveRunner returned with a few Mahi, a really nice Big Eye, as well as several White Marlin releases!

Inshore:

The High hopes is running two half day inshore trips today. He recently just returned to the docks from his morning trip catching some Spanish Mackerel and he’s about to head back out again from 1-5PM. The Top Notch is also out fishing on an all day inshore trip. Check back with us later to see what the catch was.

Rudee Inlet:

The catch in Rudee Inlet has been Spot, Croaker, and Flounder. The hot bait to use for the Spot and Croaker is live bloodworms and squid. The hot bait to use for the Flounder is live minnows or Gulp with a light jighead.
