Offshore:
Today the Backlash and Rebel both headed offshore. The Backlash will be returning to the docks around 5pm tonight and the Rebel will be back some time tomorrow evening as they are on an overnight offshore trip. The Backlash returned with a flag flying for a White Marlin release.
Inshore:
The High Hopes is heading out on a half day inshore trip this morning. Fishing was a bit slow today. The High Hopes caught and released some small inshore shark and also reeling in a couple Spanish Mackerel.
Rudee Inlet:
The bite in the inlet has been predominantly Spot and Croaker with a few Flounder and Puppy Drum being caught in the mix as well. The hot bait to use is squid, bloodworms, live minnows, and Gulp with a light jighead.
