Inshore

The inshore bite remains to be primarily Red Drum, with a few bluefish caught in the mix. The Red Drum have been caught mostly by casting bucktails at them, though a few have been caught slow trolling. There are a few Flounder still hitting on the bottom. Yesterday we had the Top Notch inshore and they had some good fun catching and releasing some small sharks as well as a few Drum. The WaveRunner also fished inshore yesterday and caught a few Drum as well.

Offshore

The Backlash and Top Notch both returned with an awesome rack of Dolphin! The Tuna bite seemed to slow up a bit today but our guys made sure their charters came back with a box full of fish. Even though Tuna are more sought after, Dolphin are still a great fishing experience, fun to catch and SO good to eat!

Rudee Inlet

Rudee Inlet has a variety of fish biting though it seems to be a little on the slower side this morning. There are still some keeper Flounders making an appearance, as well as the occasional Bluefish. The Flounders seem to be the primary bite here recently though the sizes have varied. We have seen a good showing of Croakers and Roundheads being brought by the fish cleaning stand, as well as a spot or two in the mix. Flounders continue to bite on live Minnows as well as Gulp on a light Jig Head. As for the Croakers and Spot booth the live Bloodworms as well as the Fishbites “Bag O’Worms” seem to do the trick, The Roundheads have been hitting primarily on the Fishbites “E-Z Shrimp.”
