Gone Fishing

by | Nov 2, 2017

Offshore:

We have a few private boats fishing offshore today. We are expecting them to return between 5 and 6 this evening so be sure to check back with us for the latest offshore report.

Inshore:

We have not had any boats fishing inshore recently. This time of year we typically see a few Bluefish being caught, along with the occasional big Red Drum.

Rudee Inlet:

Rudee Inlet has continued to produce a vast range of fish being caught. There are still a few lingering Spot and Croaker biting on the bottom, hitting on cut squid or live bloodworms. The popular catches recently have been Speckled Trout and Puppy Drum. They have been chasing gulp on a light jig head or the MirrOlures. The Puppy drum have been on the larger side in recent days. We have also seen some nice Speckled Trout being caught, with some being of citation size hitting the scales over 5 pounds.
