Some Great Fishing All Around

by | Jul 21, 2017

Inshore:

The inshore trips over the past week have been providing anglers with a bunch of action. They have been catching good amounts of Spanish Mackerel, with some nice Bluefish in the mix of things. On some of the trips the Captains have been putting their charters on some nice Red Drum, with most anglers going home with some a citation because the Red Drum  that have been caught and released have been huge. We have also had some charters have an awesome time catching and releasing some small sharks.

Today we have the WaveRunner, High Hopes, and Capt Cheryl fishing inshore. The Capt Cheryl caught some Spanish Mackerel on their afternoon half day trip. The WaveRunner returned from their all day inshore trip with a nice catch of Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, and Spadefish.

Offshore:

The offshore boats continue to bring in some Tuna. We have also had some Wahoo, Mahi, and Blueline Tilefish hit the docks as well. There are some Billfish starting to make an appearance in the deep water off our coast. We have seen some flags flying for White Marlin, Blue Marlin, and Sailfish. The Backlash returned to the docks today with a nice catch of Tuna. The Rebel backed into their slip flying 6 White Marlin release flags as well as a Blue Marlin release. they also released a few Hammerhead and Dusky sharks.
