Keeper Flounder In Rudee Inlet!

by | May 23, 2015

Rudee Inlet:

There has been a nice showing of keeper Flounders being caught, as well as some Bluefish lingering inside the inlet. The Croaker and Spot have started being caught in numbers again, as well as a few Roundhead. When fishing with cut bait, be sure to bring plenty, as we have started receiving some reports of crabs being in the area! The popular choice of bait remains to be live minnows, bloodworms, Finger Mullet, and Gulp!

Inshore:

Fishing seems to be picking up inshore here lately. There are a few Spanish Mackerel starting to show up, but the Bluefish bite is still on! Also inshore there have been some reports of some Cobia being seen! We are excited to see some of them hit our docks, hopefully on one of the inshore charters we have going out! We have seen some nice catch and release Drums, with quite a few citations being written out of our office.

Offshore:

Yellowfin and Dolphin are still being caught, but they are still a little bit south of us. Deep drop trips lately have been a success with Sea Bass and Tilefish!
