Chilly Morning

by | Nov 15, 2015

Today At The Marina:

This morning the temperature was in the 30’s. With the sun out now things are starting to warm up a bit. Today we will see sunny skies with seasonable temperatures. Highs will be in the low to mid 60’s. Winds will be Northwest/Southwest between 5 and 10 MPH. Tonight the skies will remain mainly clear, but chilly. The low for tonight will be around 40 degrees, with winds out of the Southwest around 5 MPH.

Offshore:

None of the boats have been able to fish offshore in recent days due to Mother Nature being uncooperative. We are hoping to have an offshore report available in the near future. The offshore targeted fish have been Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, and Mahi. Deep Drop trips have been catching Black Sea Bass, Tilefish, Black Bellied Rose Fish, and Barrel Fish.

Inshore:

Inshore fishing remains slow with only a handful of Bluefish being caught, as well as some Red Drum. The Top Notch fished inshore yesterday and returned with a handful of Bluefish, and a keeper Speckled Trout.

Rudee Inlet:

Rudee Inlet is still packed with a lot of Speckled Trout action. They are biting on gulps on a light jig head. The popular colors have been white and chartreuse. Most of the Trout caught have been throwbacks, though there are a few nice keepers in the mix. Be sure to stop in the store for all of your Rudee Inlet fishing needs.
