Tons of Mahi and Flags Flying!

by | Aug 10, 2015

Offshore:

Lots of flags flying as the boats pull back into their slips as well as a huge catch of Mahi Mahi. The Backlash was first back to the dock with 1 Blue Marlin and 3 White Marlin release flags. Shortly after, the Capt Cheryl pulled in with 5 White Marlin release flags and a big catch of peanut and gaffer Dolphin! The Top Notch followed suit with 3 White Marlin release flags and another big catch of Mahi! Rebel backed in with 2 White Marlin release flags flying. The Git-R-Done had a nice spread of Mahi with a White Marlin release and also a White Marlin brought back to the docks and the Wave Runner had some peanut Dolphin. Great job today guys! We’re so happy to see the boats out fishing again after such a windy weekend.

Inshore:

The High Hopes went out on a morning half day inshore trip and had fun catching and releasing some small inshore shark.

Rudee Inlet:

There are still plenty of Croaker and Spot being caught inside Rudee Inlet. They have been hitting cut squid and bloodworms on bottom rigs. There is still some nice flounder being caught on live minnows and gulps on a light jig head. Though the Flounder bite has been a little slower here in recent days, there have still been some nice keepers caught.
