An Inshore Kind Of Day

Offshore:

The Backlash, Rebel, and Instigator are all fishing the Ocean City White Marlin Open.

Check out a great story by clicking HERE.

Inshore:

Today we had a few boats fishing inshore. Some had morning trips, while others fished until 4 or 5. The WaveRunner, Capt Cheryl, and High Hopes had a great time doing a little Shark fishing, with a few Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish in the mix. The High Hopes even had a Black Sea Bass in the mix of things. The Top Notch ran a little bit further to a wreck where they hooked up with a nice haul of Spadefish. The Veteran just hit the docks with a mixed catch of fish including Spadefish and Bluefish.

Rudee Inlet:

Rudee Inlet still produces a nice catch of Croaker and Spot. The choice of bait for these fish remain to be live bloodworms and squid. Though the Flounder bite was a little on the slower side today, they are still here. The best chance of hooking up with a keeper Flounder would be by using live minnows or Gulp on a light Jig Head
