One offshore boat got back a bit early today, and what a great surprise since they had a nice catch of some dolphin and 2 white marlin releases. Gabe had a huge honor fishing on the BACKLASH today, catching the boats 200th WHITE MARLIN of their boat of this season!!! CONGRATS GABE!! Great job!! Overall the family had a great time, and loved being out on the water reeling in those fish, even if it was a bit rainy. We look forward to see ya'll again!

WOWZA!!!

Great fishing on the charter boats today!!! Some of the biggest dolphin we have seen in a long time. The Capt. Cheryl had an amazing day catching White Marlin and we would like to give a special congratulations to Susan M. Smith for catching her 25th citation (White Marlin) which makes her a Master Angler! Not only that, but they are a family of a Father, Mother, and Son who are all now Master Anglers!

GREAT TRIPS TODAY AND GREAT CUSTOMERS!!

Everyone seemed to have an amazing time today and even better the fishing really panned out for a rainy day offshore. Even though everyone got a bit wet today, it was more than worth it with the fish that were pulled in! Several citation dolphin, and white marlin equal lots of happy customers! We are still waiting for one more boat to come in, and they have already told us they too have 2 white marlin and lots of dolphin. So be sure to check back again later this evening or first thing tomorrow morning to check out the last boats pictures.

Inlet fishing report:

The fishing in the inlet is going strong.  We are still getting reports daily of good sized Spot being caught from the shore in the inlet.  Many locals love to eat these small fish.  While they do have quite a few bones, if you hold out for the larger 'yellow bellies' you can often get a decent sized fillet.  There have also been some reports of Bluefish and Croaker and the occasional Flounder in the inlet. But mainly the SPOT are where it is at today!!! Stop in and get your bloodworms as we are selling more than a case every day right now! There are some REALLY nice sizes to these spot too.

We sell both live and artificial bloodworms in the tackle shop, as well as pre-hooked bottom rigs which are great to use when targeting Spot and Croaker.  We also sell the artificial lures including, Gotcha Plugs, Gulp, Mirro-lures, Sting Silvers, Grubs and Jig Heads, etc which are great for the Blue Fish.  As the fall weather starts to arrive, we will start to see the Puppy Drum and Speckled Trout make their way back to the inlet as well.  We are open year round and carry a large variety of lures for these fun cooler weather fish.

If you are down here fishing this weekend, feel free to stop by and give us any updates on what is biting in the inlet so we can pass it on and keep our report up to date and accurate.
