SPECKLED TROUT: 6lbs caught by Alan Strbavy of Virginia Beach, VA

We just had one of the captains come in with a great offshore report.  He said that there is a great warm pocket offshore right now.  The boats from down south were up fishing right off the Virginia coast this weekend and found a nice school of Yellowfin and Wahoo.  He said that the Yellowfin were thicker than they were even this summer and that there were some good Wahoo out there too.  The water will only be here for a few days, so if anyone is interested in getting out there on some late summer meat fish, now is the time to go. 

With this good news a few captains are trying to put together some groups of people together, so even if you don't have a full group and you are looking to go, we might be able to get you with some others.  The water looks like it will be here through at least Wednesday, but as we know the ocean can change quickly.  With the holiday this week, hopefully some people will be able to sneak away from work to go out fishing and catch these fish before they are gone for the season!
