BLUE LINE TILE FISH: 17lbs caught by Edward Hayes Huss of Hampstead Car, VA on the Rudee Angler on December 21, 2009

A slow day here at the fishing center.  Many of our captains are here at the docks working on their boats, getting them ready for their next trips.  It is a cold overcast day, which is a perfect day to get work done on a boat, because you do not have to feel guilty about not fishing.

Looks like there are some anglers fishing from the shore in the inlet.  If we get any reports of how they are doing we will update you.

We are still waiting to hear from a captain or mate from the 16 hour head boat trip yesterday so we can update you on how they did.  We will let you know as soon as we find out.

All the reports say it looks like it is going to be one of if not the best Striper season on record.  For all of those who are still interested in going out, we are booking already for December, January, and February.  December starts the week after Thanksgiving, so don't let it sneak up on you and let the day you want to get out fishing fill up before you can make a reservation.  It is always good to book in advance to make sure you can get the boat you want on the day you want.  We have been booking trips daily, so call to book your trip today!!

We are always looking to book make up charters too!  If you are interested in getting on one and there is not one started on that date, don't forget that people are more willing to join if a trip has already been started.  Of course if we don't fill the boat you are not charged anything, so if you can go fishing, there is no harm in starting one!!
