TROPHY STRIPER!!!!

The Frog Pile charter boat headed out today into the Bay and loaded up on NICE STRIPERS!! The largest fish they had was 45" but all fish were above the 32" size range. Just remember that right now the fish are one per person, since we are in trophy season. This type of fishing is available on the 6 hour and 8 hour fishing trips, and what a great trip!! Getting into fish this large on less than a full day offshore is awesome! And the fact that it is striper also helps considering how TASTY striper REALLY is!!!! Looks like we might have a our first rain free day in almost a week.  They are calling for rain tonight, but we are supposed to be in the clear for the majority of the day.  Many anglers are taking advantage of this and going out on the water or fishing from the shore.  The fishing in the inlet is picking up and we are starting to get more and more customers buying bait and tackle for fishing in Rudee Inlet.  Squid and Mullet seem to still be the favorite as far as bait, but a lot of the anglers use the plugs and lures.  The first of the summer flounder have arrived in the inlet.  There are not many out there yet, but they are getting a few smaller ones.
