We just had a half day charter boat come back to the dock.  He was so excited because he brought back the first Spade Fish of the season.  This means that we should have several more weeks of these fish lining our docks and racks.  Check out these pictures.  These guys had a blast. 

Spade Fish are awesome to catch.  They are smaller but they put up a great fight because of the way that they are shaped.  They are able to twist and turn their body to make you think you were pulling in a 40lb fish!!  They normally average in the 3-8 lb range, which is still a great sized fish.   Most of these catches will line our racks with fish!!
