107 lb Bluefin Tuna caught by Adam Stephenson of Virginia Beach, VA

Looks like the tuna are starting to show up! We had a 107 lb Bluefin brought in as well as 9 Yellowfin Tuna AND a 97 lb Mako Shark! What an exciting day! Offshore was beautiful according to the anglers and it was well worth the run to catch some really nice fish. We have been awaiting Tuna sightings for a while now and we got a great taste of them this afternoon. Congratulations to the anglers!

We had one of our boats inshore fishing again yesterday. They found a ton of bait about a mile off the beach but were unable to find any Red Drum. These fish are the type to be here one day and completely gone the next, so we may see them show up again really soon. The boat did, however, catch some really nice Bluefish in the inlet which was a great time for the charter.

We've had reports of some good crabbing going on in the inlet as well. It seems the water temperatures are finally starting to get warm enough that we're seeing some summer fish showing up. We still haven't really had any reports of Speckled Trout yet, but the way things are going we're positive it should be any day now.

We have a couple charters booked the next couple of days so we should have some more reports for you!
