Looks like fishing is finally starting to pick up inshore. A couple guys found some really nice Spadefish and hooked a 54 lb Cobia! If you're interested in a trip like this feel free to give us a call for more information!
Rudee Inlet is also doing REALLY good with Flounder, Taylor Bluefish, Puppy Drum, and a few Speckled Trout mixed in. We've been selling TONS of Minnows which is the best bait for Flounder. Anything from Squid, Mullet, and Shrimp to Gotcha Plugs, Gulp, and Curltails are great to use in the inlet for being a "universal" bait or lure. Casting and jigging both work when fishing in the inlet because most of the fish are not picky as to what they eat this time of year. The most important thing to remember before going fishing is your Virginia Saltwater Fishing License which you can purchase at Kmart, Walmart, or online. Our store has everything you need for fishing in the inlet and any of the girls in here can point you in the right direction!
