With the offshore fishing so HOT right now, we are being flooded with calls about make up charters.  It is a great alternative for those who are traveling in smaller groups or alone.  For these trips we match people together with others who want to go fishing and they split the cost of the charter.  If you are interested in going fishing in the next few weeks we have several trips we are working on.  Just give us a call and we will get you set up!

We have two boats offshore today.  They are out there on that great Yellow Fin Tuna bite that has been here for the last few days.  Based on the weather, wind, and water temperatures it looks like the fish might be here for a while.  This summer weather has improved all the fishing.  As you saw yesterday, even the inshore fishing has picked up with boats catching their limits of Spade Fish.  We had a half day trip this morning that went out for Spanish Mackerel.  We are waiting for the pictures from the captain, but he said that they got in on some good action this morning.  Check back later for an update and hopefully some great pictures.

The tuna bite was not as great as it was yesterday.  The cold front that moved through cooled off the water just enough that the Tuna were pushed too far out for the charters to get the big schools.  They didn't come back empty handed though.  They had two Yellow Fin Tunas.  The weather is supposed to warm back up tomorrow, and we have more boats going out.  Check back tomorrow for another report.
