BLUE MARLIN: Caught & Released by Ramsey Scott Shepardson of Richmond, VA

What a day! It has been non-stop here at the store. People have been catching everything today from Spanish Mackerel, Taylor Blues and Croaker to Cobia, Dolphin and White and Blue Marlin! Unfortunately it was too busy to get pictures of everything, but we were able to snap a couple!

This morning we sold TONS of Bloodworms, Minnows and Squid to the locals fishing in Rudee Inlet and had reports of Flounder, Taylor Bluefish, Croaker and a lot of crabs. Our inshore boats did awesome with the Spanish Mackerel this morning and the captains were amazed at how good they were hitting off the beach. A private boat brought in a 60 lb Cobia that was caught over towards the bay. A number of other private boats trailed through the inlet after a long day offshore with White Marlin release flags flying. Some had 2 and 3 flags at a time! We also had one of our boats bring in two beautiful Yellowfin Tuna and some Dolphin from offshore as well. Congratulations to everyone today for keeping tight lines!
