The weather was too rough today for any of the boats to get out fishing.  Check back later in the week for an updated report.

We have had several people fishing in Rudee Inlet today.  We have had many of the local summer fishermen start to show up in the last few days buying bait and tackle for the season.

We got reports through out the day of people catching Flounder, Croaker, Blue Fish, and even a Spade Fish.  Most of the Flounder are not keepers, but the number of them is very promising.  The 17"-18" fish will keep eating and growing through out the summer and by the end, Rudee Inlet should be loaded with keeper Flounder.  The blue fish are also on the smaller side, mostly being the Taylor Blues.  We have not had any sizes on the Croaker, but the ones in the Inlet are usually on the smaller size as well.

If you are looking for a fun way to spend an afternoon grab your rod and grab a spot on the shore line in Rudee Inlet.  There are almost always locals out there willing to give advice on what is biting and what the fish are biting on.  We are open till 7pm now so we are just a short walk from the fishing spots if you need any last minute bait and tackle.
