Despite the looming skies, the boats went out and caught some good inshore fish this morning.  Check back later to see how the offshore boats did today!

Today is the last day of the Virginia Beach Marlin Invitational.  There have been boas coming in the inlet with flags flying for the last hour.  We had two boats offshore today that were both fishing the tournament.  They were not targeting meat fish, but they did release some White Marlin today. 

6:50p.m.

All of our boats are back at the dock. There were some great sightings of some nice blue marlin, and white marlin today, and the Top Notch even mentioned one that was released by Patricia Williams that was roughly @ 90lbs!!! That would be a definite White Marlin Open and VBBT top ranking fish!! Hopefully we can get that fish hooked up again for those tournaments. A few dolphin were seen and caught (although they made it to the fish cleaner before we could get pictures), and one did top out at 20 lbs! Overall the boats were strictly aiming for marlin today since today was the last day of the marlin tournament.
