Day 2 of the Mid Atlantic Rockfish Shootout is kicking off with a BANG!  We just had a private boat weigh in a 317 lb Blue Fin Tuna!  Check out these pictures!

Weigh-ins start at 2 pm so feel free to stop by and check out the action.  With a Tuna brought back this early, we should see several more by this afternoon.  We have also started to hear some reports of nice Rockfish being caught as well.  The boat that weighed in the tuna had 43 lb Striper as well.  If the fishing continues like this all day, we may very well displace some of the leaders from yesterday. 

We will try to keep you posted as the standings get updated, and we will also post pictures as we get them.  Just keep checking back, as we often get quite busy and cannot update as fast as we get the information, but we will get you updated!

If you are interested in getting in on some of this action, we still have one boat left to be chartered for Saturday, and several left for Sunday.  If you are interested in booking this boat or trying for a make up charter, just give the office a call.
