It's hard to imagine that these enormous fish are not even 2 miles off the beach! Most of the boats today were Bluefin Tuna fishing and we heard reports of boats have 3 to 4 bites that unfortunately kept breaking off but the ones that got to the boat were beautiful. We had quite a few Bluefin weighed in, the biggest being 279 lbs. with reports of even bigger ones that had broken off their line. Because a lot of people were Tuna fishing today we hardly saw any Rockfish, but the ones we did see were, again, a really good class of fish!
