Fishing today was a little slower than it has been due to the high winds the past couple of days. However, it was definitely quality over quantity today because almost every single Striper we saw come across our docks were well over 30 pounds! In addition to our long list of citations, there were just as many that ALMOST made it that were 38 and 39 lbs. Thankfully the wind has died down substantially and will continue to be good fishing weather throughout the weekend according to NOAA. We also had reports of Bluefin still being caught! One guy said he hooked up to one and fought it for an hour and a half and ALMOST had it to the boat when it broke off.
