Today's the day! We had EVERY
charter boat booked as well as our overflow charter fleet AND almost every
private boat we have was booked today. The docks look a little desolate, but
we're preparing for a crazy afternoon when the boats start rolling in. 6:45 this
morning the inlet was PACKED with boats coming from Owl's Creek (the public boat
ramp). You can see how packed it was in the pictures below:

Good luck
to all the anglers fishing today! We hope to see some good limits, big
citations, and smiling faces this afternoon!
We'll try to keep you as updated
as possible, but bare with us because it's going to be CRAZY this afternoon. As
always, for the latest info about fishing, charters, make-up charters, or
general information feel free to give us a call or e-mail us!
1:00PM
Our first charter boats and private boats started rolling back in and the
reports are looking GREAT! Not only have we seen limits of fish, but the sizes
are HUGE! Everyone was so excited, as they should be, about such a great catch.
After yesterday being a little slower than usual, this warm snap we've had has
changed the water temperatures enough that the fish have showed up even thicker. The Backlash also caught over 40 fish
today, but released them all per their charter's request. They even ended up
with 2 release citations. Great job guys!
Head Boat fishing report:
After several weeks of bad weather and not being able to go out, the
head boats came back to the docks with their limit on Blueline Tilefish and tons
of nice citations! In addition to the tilefish, the captain reported that
there were good numbers and nice sizes to Black Belly Rose Fish and Barrel fish
as well. The weather was great for the trip and lines stayed tight
throughout the day! They even saw a fin whale that hung out there around
them for awhile! Call 757-422-5700 for more information!
