Tuna seems to be the word of the day.  Most anglers and captains we have talked to today seem to talk about nothing other than the Bluefin Tunas they have been catching, and now that they are able to keep them, I would be surprised if we made it through the day without at least a few making their way back to the dock. 

We just ran down to the dock to get a picture of this huge Bluefin Tuna.  They were hoping to get a weight on it, but as you can see, its tail is hanging on the ground, so they went in search of some rope to hang it up and keep the tail off the ground, to get an accurate weight.  As soon as they get it rigged up, we will post the weight.  We also just talked to a local angler on his way in with their limit of stripers.  Looks like our fish cleaner will have his work cut out for him today!

The first striper trip of the day just came back with a nice catch.  The anglers had a great time, and as you can see had a productive morning!

Two more nice Bluefin were brought back.  The one they weighed was 135 lbs and they estimate that the other one was close to 300 lbs.  Don't forget the cart full of Stripers too!  We also had one private boat say they caught a 24" Flounder about 2 miles out!

More boats are pulling in, and more great fish!
