BASS: 41 lbs 12 oz caught by Ron Taylor of Indian Head, MD on board the Wave
Runner Well the morning has started out to be absolutely gorgeous! We have had quite a few charter boats head out today, as well as two head boats. It looks like it will finally be a GREAT Saturday of fishing! The head boats are running 16 hour trips right now and are expected in later tonight around 8:00p.m. They will start running 8A.M.-5P.M. trips and 8a.m.-2p.m. trips within the next month or so.
We've had quite a few charter boats call us this morning, and they are giving us good reports of the Striped Bass moving closer to Rudee Inlet! We are excited to see what everyone brings back this afternoon! The boats are expected to be back between 2p.m.-4p.m. and we will update the website as they come in, so keep checking back. Quite a few boats are back in with excellent catches to show for their day on the water!!! We have had one citation weighed in so far today, and limits have been caught by all! The sizes of the fish are ranging from 25-35 lbs on average. It looks like tomorrow will hopefully we another great day with more sun, warm weather, and fair winds.
