1st citation Striped Bass of the season
The Waterman was able to make one last striper today before the bad weather for this weekend hits. They went into the Chesapeake Bay and caught some nice sized Striped Bass. They said that the water temperature dropped about 2 degrees just today so this time next week hopefully they should be much thicker.
One of our winter boats just called in and thinks he has a citation Striped Bass. We are waiting for him to bring it over.
Sure enough it was our first citation of the season. Weighing in at 43 lbs this nice fish was caught by Lee Overton of Henderson, NC in the Chesapeake Bay. Congratulations Lee and what a beautiful fish for the first citation of the year.
