10 A.M. Report

Well it is ONLY 10 AM and we have boats rolling back into the docks with their LIMITS ALREADY CAUGHT!!! The fish are here and are just jumping onto our fisherman's hooks.  The boats have been able to find their limit in the ocean the last few days, and it seems that it is only going to be getting better from here.  One captain reported that not only are the fish here, but there are NICE sizes coming out of the bay into the ocean.  Another boat just came in with not only their limit, but with fish up to 50 lbs! 

Hopefully since it is still early we will continue to see great catches rolling back to our docks!

11 A.M. Report

The pictures show just how good fishing is getting here in Virginia Beach!  The fish are being caught now in the ocean and we are seeing citation fish!  A citation Rockfish of 48.5 lbs was just weighed in!  In addition to the citation, they also had a fish at 37 lbs and many other fish in the 30s.  They said the fish were everywhere and the limit was easy to catch right off the beach!  Hopefully the fishing continues to be this good and that we have a great season in store!  Check back for more updates as the day goes on!

5:00 P.M.

Not only did today start out good, it ended good!  The fishing today was overall good!  We saw nice sizes coming back from EVERY boat that pulled in today.  We also had people who had fished elsewhere bringing in their nice catches to get cleaned.  We did have more than one boat limit out today and had some nice citations as well!  The common response from the captains were that the fish were in the ocean and there were more headed our way.  We hope to continue to see some great catches and hopefully some cooperative weather to go along with it!
