It was a pretty choppy day out on the water so the Wave Runner did a short run out in the ocean for some Tautog and came back in the inlet to do some really nice Taylor Blues. They did an awesome job!

What a surprise! Brad Rehrig of Virginia Beach, VA brought in an amazing Flounder today that he caught right under the Rudee Inlet Bridge! Measured at 23 1/2 inches and weighing just over 5 lbs we were all shocked at how early such a big fish had showed up. Congratulations Brad!

Fishing in the inlet has REALLY started to pick up the last few days now that we have some warmer weather moving through to warm up the water. Due to so many requests we have started carrying bloodworms and stocked up on our squid and mullet.

We've been keeping a close eye on the patches of warm water offshore that are holding the Bluefin Tuna.  There is a nice patch that has moved quite a bit toward us in the last few days.  The offshore weather for Friday through Sunday look to be perfect, so if anyone is interested in fishing for some Blue Fins offshore call and book a boat today.
